In 2015 the topic of the training was ‘Work with stereotypes in intercultural communication‘. 15 out of 35 applicants were selected to take part in the training.
The training was aimed at developing the participants‘ knowledge about and perception of cultural and ethnic stereotypes. In course of the training the participants have formulated working definitions of stereotypes and prejudices, analyzed how stereotypes emerge, and learned about the ways to overcome stereotyping.
All participants expressed their satisfaction with the results of the training. In particular they mentioned that seminar helped them to structure their knowledge about stereotypes, they experienced interesting working formats and especially they emphasized comfortable and very open atmosphere.
Due to the large number of applications to the training, in 2016 these sessions will be held twice. Additionally, it is planned to organize a training event devoted to the topic of intercultural conflicts.
