Deadline: February 13, 2020
The annual Methodological Workshop on Research Methodology, Conceptualisation, Design and Presentation for PhD researchers and young scholars subtitled ‘What the hell is a research question? And why does my supervisor need it?’ calls for your applications!
The Centre for German and European Studies (St. Petersburg State University — Bielefeld University) invites scholars, working on their PhD and MA theses towards European topics or including European cases in comparative perspective to discuss their theses with Prof. Dr. Tatiana Zimenkova, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, Germany and Dr. Verena Molitor, Bielefeld University, Germany on February 29, 2020 (10:30 - 17:00) at the CGES.
The workshop is designed for PhD students in any phase of their research (and MA students, working on the MA theses) from political sciences, social sciences, historical and cultural sciences, journalism and other social and humanitarian sciences. One of our goals is to support the internationalisation of the research by young scholars, providing them a possibility to address their topics in English.
The moderators will nominate one participant to be granted a one-month CGES scholarship within 2020 for research stay (for field work or scientific consultations) in Germany (or other European countries).
