Last Friday, the annual welcome seminar for the newly enrolled students of the MA program ‘Studies in European Societies’ took place at the Centre for German and European Studies.
Scientific manager of the CGES Nikita Basov presented the Centre and told about the opportunities offered by the CGES to the MA ‘SES’ students including participation in international academic events, support of short-term research mobility in Europe, participation in international research projects as well as opportunity to join the CGES PhD Fellowship Programme after graduation. Past CGES PhD fellow and currently an associate researcher of the CGES Artem Antonyuk shared his own experience and presented the current projects of the Centre he participates in.
This year, 16 Russian and international students with degrees in international relations, sociology, human resources management, law, linguistics, philology, economics, and regional studies joined MA ‘SES’.
We congratulate the newly enrolled students and wish them high academic achievements!
MA ‘SES’ is a master program fully taught in English at the Faculty of Sociology of St Petersburg University since 2004 in cooperation with Bielefeld University with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the CGES. Find more here.
